Slide Show on turning verbs into adjectives Known as PAST PARTICIPLES; take a verb, add -ido or -ado to make it be the -ed version of that verb:
to bake (cocer) becomes baked: cocido to eat (comer) becomes eaten: comido to cut (cortar) becomes chopped: cortado Don't forget, once these words are being used as adjectives, they must make agreement with the noun they describe. (el queso cortado, la manzana cortada, las cebollas cortadas, los huevos cortados) Please visit this lesson on Past Participles and take the quiz HERE. There are exceptions to the rule of -ido and-ado: Here is a list of common exceptions. After doing the slide show, we worked on our RECETAS due Friday.
