Hoy, vamos a empezar el primero de los tensos del pasado. Se llama el pasado perfecto. Usa un verbo "haber" y un participio pasado. So, en ingles, you take the verb haber = to have (only used for perfect tenses like this one), conjugate it, and then tack on a past participle. It comes out meaning "I have eaten" or "he has studied" etc. This presentation will explain this first tense of the three we are studying. Past participles generally are verbs with -ido or -ado endings. But there are LOTS of irregulars! So, begin with this TRABAJO #1 for which you must go to the conjugation page of Word Reference and look for the listed verbs' Participio pasado which is at the top of the conjugation page for each individual verb.
